1. What was/were the main situation(s)/issue(s) for you and your teams before the interventions?

The major challenge of the departmental retreat was to integrate two new teams into the department, to create a good working atmosphere between old and new colleagues, to review the department's objectives in the light of the newcomers, to analyse the strengths and weaknesses of the current functioning of the department, and to develop action points, where necessary.

2. What were the results after the interventions?

A good understanding of what the different groups do and their specific objectives, a good overall atmosphere, a better knowledge of each other, an understanding of what works well and what needs to be improved, a list of action points to be implemented by staff and management in terms of content, procedures and management, including strategic and structural discussions with the senior management to improve the overall performance of the department.

3. What was most striking / favourable about the consultant's work / style?

A team of experienced consultants who used innovative methods to create an excellent atmosphere during the three-day retreat, which led to excellent results in terms of actionable recommendations and also in terms of relationships. Exemplary preparation, and short, precise reporting allowed for a high quality retreat based on an effective agenda, and then to move forward with the implementation of the recommendations. We recommend and thank Bruno and Emmanuel for their high level performance!
